How To Increase Speed Of Your Internet Connection By 20%
Hi Guys, this is my first blog. In this blog I am going to
tell you some secrets about internet connections and also will tell you some
tricks to increase its speed.
So,
most of us use wireless MODEM or a dial-up connection, me too… It shows various
speeds at its connection status but the question is,
“Had it ever reached to its highest
speed?”
“NEVER…”
“Why?”
The
answer is Computer reserves some bandwidth for specific purposes. Users are not
allowed to use the whole bandwidth of MODEM. This trick will narrate you to use
this reserved bandwidth, which will indirectly improve your speed….!!!!
Before
going for original trick let me clarify you that this trick does not boost a 115
Kb/s MODEM to 1 Mb/s. It just let you use your MODEM at its full capacity….
TRICK:
Step:-1) Click On Start And Then Click On RUN Button And Type gpedit.msc And Press OK.. This Opens The Group Policy Editor.
Step:-2) Then Go
To,
--> Local
Computer Policy
--> Computer
Configuration
-->
Administrative Templates
--> Network
--> QOS Packet
Scheduler
--> Limit
Reservable Bandwidth.
Step:-3) Then
Double Click On Limit Reservable bandwidth..
(It will say it is
not configured, but the truth is by default, the Packet Scheduler limits the
system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this
setting to override the default.)
Step:-4) Above All
the Process Enables The reservable bandwidth, Then Set This To ZERO… OR simply
DISABLE it… ;)
(This will allow
the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20 %.)
So… Go on…!!! Play it and ENJOY…
